Andrew Richards
Hi, I'm Andrew. PROGRAMMER and composer.
I completed a Masters degree in Composition at the University of Manchester after finishing my Bachelors at Cardiff University, there's never a moment's rest for me (despite my wishes).
I've had the very great pleasure to work with some fantastic composers and musicians, during my times at the University of Manchester and Cardiff University. In particular working with: Quatuor Danel, Dr Camden Reeves and Dr Arlene Sierra.
I now live and work in Liverpool as a Software Developer at Simul Software Ltd, after teaching myself C++ and several graphics APIs.

MMus Composition
I've experienced new styles of teaching and composition; along with a new city and people. This course is hard work (I wouldn't have expected anything less from Manchester), but I'm sure the lessons learned, the friends made and rewards will always stay with me.

BMus Music
Cardiff provided me with a fantastic grounding in Music, and not just in composition. The course explored various aspects of musicianship, composition, analysis and musicology. My university experience taught me a few life lessons (and how to cook for myself). I miss Cardiff, as it really did feel like a second home.
